Kingdom Hearts: Kairi 02

Originally a resident of Radient Garden, Kairi encountered Aqua and Mickey at the young age of five. This was because the light in her heart made her a target of the Unversed. She was sent to Destiny Island some time later when Xehanort performed a gruesome experiment; he forced all six apprentices of Ansem the Wise to rip their hearts out which caused them to be invaded by darkness.

Cosplayer *Shiya is the cosplayer and designer of this unique version of Kairi. She has named it "Broken love Halloween Kairi" and Muze is her photographer. Thanks to Dahanna for sending this in!

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Aang

The current incarnation of the spirit of the planet manifested in human form, Aang is known as the Avatar who is tasked to keep the Four Nations Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth at peace. As he is taught by the Air Nomads, Aang wishes to avoid fighting as much as possible. He develops a complex network of friends extending over all four nations during his journey to complete his task.

Cosplayer Eri is the girl behind this cosplay of Aang. Yes, she is a girl, and she wrote that she is wearing a bald cap for this cosplay. Pretty awesome don't you think? Thanks again for sharing this with us, Eri!

School Rumble: Harima Kenji

An ex-delinquent who still retains some aspects of his former persona, Harima Kenji often got into fights in the beginning of the series. He had a crush on Tsukamoto Tenma, only to find out that she was in love with Karasuma Oji. He began drawing manga as a means of escape from heartbreak and gets an honorable mention in an amateur manga contest.

Metroid Prime: Samus Aran 02

As a child, Samus spent most of her time with her family in the mining planet known as K-2L. Unfortunately, the planet was raided by Space Pirates looking for bounty and killed most of the people in the colony. This included Samus' parents, who were killed by the Space Pirate's leader, Ridley. The planet was eventually destroyed, and the orphaned Samus was left to fend for herself. Incidentally, she was found by the bird-like alien race known as the Chozo and was taken to their home planet Zebes where she trained to become a warrior and seek her revenge.

Beautifully detailed Samus from Sweden's Uppcon 2008! I'm actually wondering if she's Jenni Källberg, the same Samus cosplayer I featured in 2007. Thanks again to Vea for the Uppcon photos!

I was told there were several of these girls dressed like flight attendants in Winter Comiket 2009. According to Mike, the contributor of today's feature, she's "the cutest one in the bunch. Not that all of them weren't cute actually."

Since this is the only photo I have, I can't judge that. Maybe it's because she's wearing her hair in semi-pigtails that it made her stand out?

Star Ocean 4: Arumat P. Thanatos

An Eldarian warrior blessed with extraordinary fighting ability, even by Eldarian standards, Arumat is unfortunately ill with an incurable disease. His muscle cells are breaking down, which has forced him to choose between giving up his current body or dying and early death. Now 26, he chose to live out the rest of his life for redemption of the lives of the men he lost along the way. He was only 17 when his entire troop was destroyed after a battle with the phantoms, leaving him as the sole survivor of the attack.

Cosplayer Kashino Rei, who is the same cosplayer behind Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle's Sakura cosplay contacted me to correct the info I posted about her previous cosplay. Not surprising, she has a lot of great cosplays in her Deviant Art account, and this is one of my favorites. Thanks also to her photographer, Christoph Gerlach for the awesome photography!

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children: Tifa Lockhart 05

In the initial draft of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, Tifa was intended to have a more central role. The original story was supposed to revolve around a note being delivered to Cloud Strife, and the cast list only included Tifa, Cloud, and several children.

Aren't we all glad they decided to make the short film into a full, mind-blowing, computer generated movie?

Then again, with cosplay like this, who knows? Maybe there's a real Tifa Lockhart out there that we don't know about. Thanks to Linda for sending this in!
