Cosplay
Cosplay or costume play is a form of a new phenomenon as the growing world of manga and anime. In simple cosplay costumes and style is to imitate the manga or anime characters, but now there is also a creative with their own imagination in creating unique and interesting costumes.
Now a lot of cosplayer ranging from the beginner to the professional class from various countries, mainly in countries that have been familiar with the manga and anime from Japan. They are creative and try to emulate their favorite characters who could have spent no small cost in making costumes. This is reasonable considering the cosplay competition became more widespread with gifts large and lucrative and supported by many media, so that even the current cosplayer can also be a celebrity.
In Indonesia, the current event cosplay and Japanese culture is not a strange thing anymore. It has been a lot of cosplay events that can be mixed with the bazaar, the Japanese band competition, exhibition of Japanese culture, and many other things. There was even some major event that was attended by various cosplayer from abroad such as Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, and others.

Anna is actually bisexual and has a crush on Izumi. At first, she is attracted to Yoshitaka, but after Izumi's relentless efforts to make her stay away from Toshitaka, Anna mistook this as a sign of interest. She thus became one of Yoshitaka's maids in order to follow Izumi.

Soul Eater: Franken Stein
Considered to be the most powerful meister to graduate from the Death Weapon Meister Academy (DWMA), Stein views the world as his own place to experiment, which makes him fight his own insane urges to dissect everything. He's even experimented on himself, placing a giant bolt though his own head, which he occassionally turns while thinking.

Witchblade: Amaha Masane and Shiori Tsuzuki
Sisters Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfiao represented Team Philippines in the recent Anime Festival Asia (AFA) 2009 held in Suntec Convention Center, Singapore. The sisters performed a short skit in their Witchblade cosplay with Alodia as Amaha Masane and Ashley as Shiori Tsuzuki.

I didn’t think anyone could get her hair to look quite that right. But I think I like her red eyes more than anything! Very convincing cosplay, and it even has Konata’s stamp of approval! Great work!

I guess everyone has an image they want to keep up with. Although I also think it’s natural to act differently depending on the crowd you’re with. Too bad this picture is a little blurry, but I wanted to share it anyway. Awesome cosplay!
Lucky Star: Izumi Konata 06
Izumi Konata is the hardcore otaku protagonist of the Lucky Star series. She has a tendency to refer to several popular games, anime, and manga; including Yu-Gi-Oh! and The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. She has many figures of Suzumiya Haruhi in her room and even cosplayed her in the Cosplay Cafe she works in. Did I mention that both characters have the same seiyuu (voice actress) too? Awesome

Vampire Knight: Touya Rima and Souen Ruka
I was quite pleased when Australian cosplayer, ~Rima-kawaii contacted me in my Deviant Art account in order to contribute this lovely photo of her as Touya Rima and her friend ~silverfiction "Mik" as Souen Ruka. It's nice to see a Western twist in the popular series, Vampire Knight by Hino Matsuri. Thanks so much for this, Rima!

The "flame-haired, fiery-eyed hunter" or Flame Haze, Shana was once solely concentrated on her duty to hunt the Denizens of the Crimson Realm and the Rinne they send to do their bidding. When she meets Sakai Yuji, a Torch created as a temporary replacement for the erased humans, he decides to give her the name Shana in his need to humanize her. She adores Melon Bread and tends to say "Urusai! Urusai! Urusai!" whenever Yuji asks her questions or makes remarks that disturb her original point of view.
